The Evolution: From Stealth Series™ to X-Series™
The Stealth Series™ was a breakthrough in its time, setting new standards with innovations like 3- and 5-axis capability, patented Dual-Fan™ and Dual-Beam™ Unidirectional (two lasers, one direction) laser technology, and rugged, water-resistant designs. For years, it became the workhorse of facilities around the world, trusted for its precision, reliability, and durability.
But technology never stands still. As industries grew more competitive, our customers began asking for systems that could do more than just deliver accuracy, they wanted tools that were easier to learn, faster to use, and flexible enough to grow with their changing needs. Many users told us that while the Stealth Series™ systems were powerful, they wanted software that was more intuitive, upgrade options that didn’t mean replacing the entire system, and a design that made shaft alignment less intimidating for newer technicians.
We listened. And instead of making incremental changes, we decided to reinvent what a shaft alignment system should be. The result was the X-Series™, engineered from the ground up with the end-user in mind. Built on decades of laser alignment expertise, the X-Series™ introduced:

The transition from Stealth Series™ to X-Series™ wasn’t just an update, it was a revolution in how alignment systems are designed, purchased, and used. When we set out to design the successor to the Stealth Series™, we knew it couldn’t just be an incremental improvement, it needed to mark a turning point. The letter “X” was chosen because it symbolized three key ideas that defined this next generation:
Crossroads of Innovation – The X represented a breaking point from the past, where customer feedback, decades of experience, and new technology converged to redefine shaft alignment. It was the place where precision and usability finally met.
Expandability – The X stood for the system’s ability to grow with the user. Unlike the Stealth Series™, the X-Series™ was designed as a truly upgradeable platform, giving customers the power to start with what they needed and expand as their applications demanded, a flexible, future-proof solution.
X = Excellence – At its core, the X embodied excellence in alignment. With unmatched accuracy, rugged durability, intuitive software, and flexible models, the X-Series™ became the benchmark for what shaft alignment should be.
